Operation Homefront, Head & Shoulders and P&G honor military spouses at Nashville’s Wildhorse Saloon

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — National nonprofit Operation Homefront, Head & Shoulders and P&G treated more than 80 military spouses to a special evening out on Saturday, September 28th.  The partnered organizations hosted a “Homefront Celebration” at the world-famous Wildhorse Saloon as an opportunity for military spouses to meet new friends, appreciate an evening of food and entertainment, and listen to guest speaker, veteran, Paralympian and mother of two, Melissa Stockwell.

 

“As a military spouse, you become familiar with resiliency very early on, and it’s not always easy to put your head down and face the challenges of military life,” said Stockwell. “That’s why events such as these Homefront Celebrations are so important. They create stability, connections, and comfort that these spouses and their families deserve.”

 

Operation Homefront, whose mission is to build strong, stable, and secure military families so that they can thrive – not simply struggle to get by – in the communities they have worked so hard to protect, hosts multiple Homefront Celebrations around the country each year.

Country music artist Kelleigh Bannen gave a special live performance in honor of the military spouses at the “Homefront Celebration.” All the spouses participating in the event registered on OperationHomefront.Org and were spouses of active duty military members, Guard and Reserve, and post 9/11 wounded, ill or injured.
