Brick House Tavern + Tap Launches Second Annual Taste Freedom

THANK YOU to Brick House for helping to raise $145,695 for Operation Homefront programs that provides mortgage-free homes to deserving U.S. veterans with financial support from Chase Bank.

During its seven-month “Taste Freedom” campaign, Brick House Tavern gave free appetizers and entrees to patrons who donated to the program. Now in its second year, the “Taste Freedom” campaign has raised a cumulative total of $281,925 so far.

Earlier this year, Brick House Tavern + Tap and Operation Homefront brought back the very successful “Taste Freedom” campaign to honor our nation’s military service men and women and their families. Brick House Tavern + Tap prides itself in celebrating Americans who do extraordinary things, specifically the military’s efforts who go above and beyond the call of duty every day. Brick House Tavern + Tap wanted to exceed last year's goal, and they did, with the help and patriotism of their very generous guests.

To ignite the seven-week campaign, Brick House Tavern + Tap pledged its support to the “Taste Freedom” campaign with a variety of creative programs for its guests, including:

  • Donations = Free Appetizers and Entrees: From May 21 through July 5, 2015, a $5 donation earned guests a coupon for a complimentary appetizer of their choice with the purchase of an entree; a $10 donation earned guests a coupon for a complimentary entrée with the purchase of another adult entree of equal or greater value. All coupons are dine-in only and one coupon is allowed per ticket. Coupons are valid from July 6, 2015, through Aug. 2, 2015. Online donations can be made here, as well.
  • Award a Mortgage-Free Home – Brick House Tavern + Tap saluted a deserving military family that was awarded a mortgage-free home by Operation Homefront and Chase on July 8, 2015, to celebrate the culmination of the campaign.
