(Atlanta Ga.) - Operation Homefront, Inc., the national non-profit that provides emergency financial and other assistance to military families and wounded warriors, today announced the disaffiliation of its Georgia chapter, which will continue providing services to military families in Georgia as an independent organization under the name United Military Care, Inc.
The move will allow the two organizations the flexibility to serve military families in the face of the changing American armed forces. The new arrangement was mutually agreed on by the boards of directors of the two organizations, which look forward to working cooperatively to serve military families in the state.
Operation Homefront will continue to support military members and their families through its Georgia/Alabama Field Office located in Kennesaw, Ga. You can reach them at 866-845-6579 for more information on their Georgia activities.
United Military Care, Inc. will operate out of Marietta, GA. They can be reached at 770-973-0014 or on the web at www.UnitedMilitaryCare.org .

About United Military Care, Inc.: Founded by former board members of OH-GA, the new entity's mission and charter are commensurate with their ideals and concern for our military families.
"Working to protect, preserve and honor America's Military Families for their service and sacrifice by providing compassionate, collaborative care in their time of need. Believing that one who asks for assistance does so out of true need and often without a clear path on how to resolve and prevent the crisis from occurring again, we provide assistance based on emergency need, educational assistance and empowering directives. Military Families struggling with day to day living and life's unplanned hardships can reach out to United Military Care and open one door to many areas of assistance." ©
