Operation Homefront invites you to register for the Military Spouse Career Networking Group at AmazonThis FREE event includes refreshments, a tour of The Spheres at Amazon, and a presentation from military spouse Amazonians on setting career goals, why Amazon values hiring veterans and military spouses, and personal success stories. A facilitated networking session will help attendees throughout their career cycle – from launching a career search, to reinvigorating connections, and matching mentees with mentors. Plus, every attendee will receive a goody bag filled with items for career success!

Registration is open ONLY for military spouses of service members who are: active duty, guard, or reserve; OR post 9/11 wounded, ill, or injured; OR have transitioned out of the military within the last 12 months.

Operation Homefront announces Star-Spangled Babies, a baby shower for new military parents. The day's event will include new parent information, refreshments, and a bag of goodies for baby!

Eligibility:

Active Duty, E1-E6, or;

Post 9/11 wounded, ill, or injured service member of any rank, both currently serving and those no longer serving in the military.

Must be pregnant and have a due date before May 1, 2020 or delivered your baby since July 1, 2019.*

*This time frame also applies to adoptive parents.

ELIGIBILITY

All ranks, Active Duty, Guard and Reserves, any duty status, or:

Post 9/11 wounded, ill, or injured service member of any rank, both currently serving and those no longer serving in the military.

Must be pregnant and have a due date between Jul 01, 2019 and April 26, 2020.

This time frame also applies to adoptive parents. If you do not fall within these guidelines, you do not qualify for this particular event and should not register.

Due to space limitations, we ask that only the registered Mom attend, and that babies be 3 months or younger and carried in arms or carrier (strollers will be parked by door).

Homefront Celebration is a special, complimentary night out, just for military spouses. Join us as we eat, laugh, get inspired, share stories about life and gain new insight and perspective. Make new friends as we share a fabulous catered dinner, hear from a motivating guest speaker, present a recipient with an SNHU scholarship, and have a fun and relaxing evening.


A scholarship recipient is announced at each Homefront Celebration. The scholarship covers full tuition of an online degree program, with books and other learning fees being the cost of the student.

Operation Homefront is partnering with BAE Systems to provide Bikes to military families. BAE believes in supporting our service men and women along with the entire family, and to providing the opportunity to spend quality family time together while promoting a healthy life style.

BAE will provide a brand new bike to reach member of the family (DEERS dependent) along with a helmet. 

Eligibility: Active duty, E1-E6, or post 9/11 wounded, ill or injured all ranks in San Diego region.
