Tim McGraw Enters 4th Year Of Honoring Veterans

When Tim McGraw speaks about those who serve, his words ring true for all of us:

"The heart and soul of commitment, loyalty, service, and honor – that kind of dedication in generations of service is a rare and exceptional beauty… I want to be an American and I want to be free. You make me proud to be an American and because of you I am free.”

Since 2012, Tim McGraw has partnered with Chase and Operation Homefront to provide 108 homes for military families, recognize the valor and sacrifice of those families, and encourage his loyal fans to show their support for our troops.

Challenges Facing Our Veterans

More than two million service members deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. Thousands returned home with physical injuries, but tens of thousands more came home to their families with invisible injuries. It’s estimated that one in four Iraq and Afghanistan veterans suffer from the invisible wounds of war such as traumatic brain injury or post-traumatic stress. Many post-9/11 veterans deployed multiple times spending months and often years away from their families. Whether recovering from a physical injury, post-traumatic stress, or difficulty finding a job and making ends meet, these families have sacrificed for our country and deserve our support.

The Homes on the Homefront program offers veterans of all eras more than just a place to live. For our military families, this is an opportunity that will make a positive impact for the children and grandchildren of our heroes. Thirty-six homes will be donated during Tim’s 2015 tour! But the home is really just the starting point. Thanks to generous donors like you, Operation Homefront assigns caseworkers to each family to ensure they receive all of the supportive services needed to make a successful transition to being financially stable homeowners.
