For those who want to connect on a deeper level with the families we serve, our current needs page allows you to view the need and background of specific families and the struggles they face. The "Add" button will allow you to give any amount to that need. 

Want to help military families even more? Become a Homefront Hero!

Homefront Heroes is Operation Homefront's membership program for donors who give to the organization via recurring gifts. Donations are always needed to continue to help build strong, stable and secure military families who can thrive, not just get by, in the communities they have worked so hard to protect. Recurring gifts allow us to better project anticipated donations to the organization and makes giving easy. Donations are withdrawn automatically via electronic check or credit card transactions, making it effortless for donors to give. Every contribution, regardless of amount, is significant to the work and mission of Operation Homefront.

You can use planned giving to support our mission to help military families. A planned gift is any major gift, made during your lifetime or at death, as part of your overall financial and/or estate planning. We have several options available for you to consider:

Stocks and Securities
Operation Homefront accepts stock and other securities as charitable donations through our account with Merrill Lynch. To make a donation of any marketable securities, please download and complete the attached transfer form and submit to Development@operationhomefront.org.

Bequests
We suggest the following language in order to make a bequest to Operation Homefront.

Sample Bequest Language for Wills:

I give [cash of $_________] or [specified property] to Operation Homefront (EIN 32-0033325), to be used for its general purposes.

Wills or Living Trusts
Trusts and wills are another option for planned giving. Your assets are not tied up now yet you may rest assured that they will benefit our military families in the future.

The Combined Federal Campaign is a partnership between federal employees, the government and charitable organizations like Operation Homefront. Most Federal employees elect to pledge a specific amount to be withheld regularly from their pay beginning in January and continuing through December. One-time gifts are also possible. Donate to Operation Homefront using code #12526.

The campaign begins on Sept. 1 and normally goes through Dec. 15. Click here to find out more about the CFC.

Donations of goods and services, also known as in-kind gifts, are extremely valuable to Operation Homefront. In-kind gifts can be made by individuals, organizations, or corporations. Operation Homefront accepts donated in-kind services to include, but not limited to, legal support, automotive repair, heating and air conditioning services, roofing, and accounting services. Your donation is 100 percent tax deductible.

Do you own a business and want to direct proceeds to Operation Homefront? Or do you want to sell raffle tickets for donated items and raise money for us? Even if you just want to set up a lemonade stand, there are lots of ways to organize a fundraiser to benefit military families.
